Event Description
Stock trading competition is a competition where participants trade with virtual money to obtain the highest capital gain. The aim of this competition is to increase the participants knowledge from online stock trading courses and to improve their analysis skills by presenting the stock analysis on a specific company.
Stock Trading Simulator
UDAAN 2k26, the Management Summit of MAKAUT, W.B., organised by the School of Management Sciences (SoMS), presents the Stock Trading Simulator competition.
Rules & Regulations:-
• Eligibility: Only student participants are allowed.
• Code of Conduct: Rules for fair behaviour for all participants.
• Virtual Capital: Each participant will start with a fixed amount of virtual capital.
• Trading Period: The competition will run for a specified duration.
• Trade Limit: No bar on total trades.
• We will choose first, second and third. On each positive and negative, positive means one ( 1 ). Negative means minus one ( -1 ) point.
• Each trade must be held for at least 5 minutes, otherwise it will not be valid.
• Minimum Holding: A minimum holding period for certain trades should be enforced.
• Winner Selection: The winner will be selected based on the maximum profit.
• Rewards: Attractive prizes will be awarded to the winners.
• Tie-breaker: In case of a tie, the participant with higher points and a higher overall profit will be the winner
• Platform: The platform is open to both beginners and pro students.
• Compliance: All participants must adhere to the rules.
• Trading Hours: Defined timeframes for trading activity.
• Restricted Instruments: Limitations on specific types of assets, if necessary.
• Margin Trading: Clear rules on whether margin trading is allowed.
• Transparency: Regular updates to the leaderboard.
• Dispute Resolution: Process for resolving any conflicts.
• External Assistance: Prohibition of external help.
• Bonus Points: Provision for bonus points for specific achievements.
• Confidentiality: Ensuring the confidentiality of participant data.
